The Indie Spotlight seeks to be the best resource for readers searching for fresh reading material from the ever-growing list of Independent Authors who are revolutionizing the publishing industry. We can’t provide numbers at this time (we are new after all), but we will be promoting this blog far and wide, seeking to get the word out to all readers via the Internet.

And we’re also looking for sponsors, authors who want to support the Independent Author movement, and who are looking for inexpensive means of advertising their books to an audience specifically seeking out non-traditionally published works. We have four specific advertising “slots” up for sale.

• Premium Banner – Along the top of the site header is our Premium Banner, a 468 x 60 pixel ad with ten ad spots that rotate at regular intervals. The first two slots in the rotation are $20.00 US a month, while the other 8 are only $10.00 US a month. Each banner ad will link to either the author’s personal website or your book’s product page (your choice).
• Block Ads – Along the right column are our four Block Ads, four 125 x 125 pixel ads, each with ten ad spots that rotate at regular intervals. The first two slots in the rotation are $10.00 US a month, while the other 8 are only $5.00 US a month. Each block ad will link to either the author’s personal website or your book’s product page (your choice).

Please note: While we fully support freedom of speech at The Indie Spotlight, we reserve the right to refuse any book of a knowingly controversial or sexual nature (i.e. racist, sexist, or pornographic material). If you are unsure whether your book is eligible for our advertising program, contact us at the email below and describe your book to us.

Also, if you need us to create your ad for you, we can do it for a flat fee of $15.00 US for a 125 x 125 pixel block ad, $25.00 US for a 468 x 60 pixel banner ad. And of course you’ll have final approval of your ad, and can use the final image anywhere you like. And if you purchase our ad creation service, we’ll place your ad on our site (in the first available slot, if available) free for one month.
